Michael Silberman
Michael Silberman is the Global Director of the Digital Mobilisation Lab at Greenpeace. The “MobLab” represents the global organisation’s commitment to digital innovation and people-powered campaigning. The Lab works with Greenpeace and its allies in 42 countries to envision, test, and roll out creative new means of communicating, organizing, and fundraising online.
A senior online campaigns strategist, Silberman specializes in online organizing and grassroots citizen engagement. He is a frequent writer and speaker on the effective use of technology for converting online activity into real-world action. Silberman chairs the Web of Change conference, the premier annual gathering for leading thinkers and campaigners at the intersection of technology and social change.
Silberman is a co-founder of EchoDitto, a digital agency that empowers leading organizations to have a greater impact through the creative use of new technologies. As a Partner at EchoDitto, Silberman lead a team that designed participatory campaigns and built award-winning tools for clients to enable individuals to make the world a better place. Clients included the UN World Food Program (WFP), the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI), and the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA).
Silberman cut his teeth on digital organizing and campaigning as the National Meetup Director for Howard Dean’s presidential run in 2004, where he lead an online organizing team that regularly mobilised more than 189,000 local volunteers in over 1,200 cities worldwide. He also served as the 1Sky climate campaign’s Internet Director during its first year, where he implemented a successful nationwide internet organizing, communications, and fundraising strategy.

Tracy Frauzel
Tracy Frauzel is the Training Director and Senior Strategist for the Mobilisation Lab at Greenpeace and works to build capacity, skills and expertise in people-powered campaigning with Greenpeace staff globally.
Frauzel comes to this role after leading a high performing team of digital strategists who delivered successful people-powered campaigns against Nestle, VW, Unilever, HSBC, the UK tuna industry and the third runway at Heathrow.
With 14 years experience working for Greenpeace globally, Frauzel has a deep and varied understanding of campaigning and using technology for social change. She led teams that pioneered Greenpeace’s online communications from its ships,the Amazon and from non-violent direct actions. She worked with communities fighting for solutions in the Amazon and the Saunderbans. She led the creation of Greenpeace’s most active online supporter community based in the UK.
By no means institutionalised, Frauzel is always challenging her colleagues to leave their comfort zone, take risks and embrace technologies that are connecting the world and have the potential to make Greenpeace’s mission fort a green and peaceful planet a reality.

Wendee Parker
Wendee Parker is an Analyst with the Digital Mobilisation Lab. She works with the global organization to take Greenpeace’s testing and analytics practices to the next level, enabling Greenpeace and its allies to innovate more quickly, win bigger, and raise more money.
Wendee brings nearly 10 years of experience leading marketing research and digital analytics programs. She was most recently managing digital analytics and research for Fortune 500 company clients at Mindshare, a leading global marketing and media agency with WPP in New York City. Wendee also managed research and strategic planning to drive email marketing, advertising, and new product research for some of the country’s largest financial, airline and retail companies at a marketing loyalty firm and at major metro newspapers in Pittsburgh and Atlanta.

Gillian Caldwell, Gillian Caldwell Consulting, LLC
Gillian Caldwell is a serial social entrepreneur and advocate who consults with non-profits and foundations on strategy and organizational development. She is trained as an attorney and film-maker, and formerly served as Campaign Director for 1Sky, a collaborative campaign that pushed for federal action to tackle global warming and recently merged with 350.org. For ten years she was also the Executive Director of WITNESS, which uses video to expose human rights abuses, and prior to that she led an international undercover investigation into trafficking women into forced prostitution. She is co-editor/author of Video for Change (2005), received her BA from Harvard University and a J.D. from Georgetown University, and is a recipient of numerous awards and honors.
Ted Fickes, Bright+3
Ted is the founder and director of Bright+3, a group focused solely on enabling organizations to create innovative and powerful campaign networks through clear analysis, innovation and strategic implementation. Bright+3 works with local, national and international organizations.
Previously, Ted led online communications programs at The Wilderness Society and served as a consultant to dozens of nonprofits, PACs, political candidates and ballot initiative campaigns.
Allen Gunn, Aspiration
Aspiration helps nonprofits and social justice activists use software tools more effectively and sustainably. We serve as friend, ally, coach, strategist, mentor and facilitator to those trying to make more impactful use of information technology in their social change efforts.
Marianne Manilov, The Engage Network
Marianne is the Co-Founder and Co-Director of The Engage Network, formed to respond to the inquiry How do we build stronger movements to make real systemic change? The Engage Network marries the best online organizing strategies with a unique, small circle approach to offline base building. The result is Change on a Human Scale- a robust network of deeply engaged donors, members and constituents where real scalable change can happen.
Marianne has written pieces on organizing and social change and been quoted extensively in the media including: The Huffington Post, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, The New York Times, The Nation, Good Housekeeping, and Business Week. She has appeared on ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, and Good Morning America, and on the BBC.
